Expected Gas: determined by the type of adapter connected to the analyzer (medical air, oxygen, nitrous oxide, nitrogen or vacuum).
Detected Gas: determined by measuring the percent of oxygen and the percent of nitrous oxide in the gas sample being tested. The table below shows the criteria:

Static Pressure: pressure when there is no flow.
Dynamic Pressure (flow pressure): pressure when the flow is at a specified flow rate.
Pressure Drop: the calculated difference between the static pressure and the dynamic pressure.
