Types of Outlets Tested:
  • Medical Air
  • Oxygen
  • Nitrous Oxide

Tests Performed

Expected Gas:  determined by the type of adapter connected to the analyzer (medical air, oxygen, nitrous oxide, nitrogen or vacuum).

Detected Gas:  determined by measuring the percent of oxygen and the percent of nitrous oxide in the gas sample being tested.  The table below shows the criteria:

Static Pressure:  pressure when there is no flow.

Dynamic Pressure (flow pressure):  pressure when the flow is at a specified flow rate.

Pressure Drop: the calculated difference between the static pressure and the dynamic pressure.

Data Collection Capability

Stores approximately 1,500 outlet test results.

Reports

The G2500 comes with NST’s proprietary Report Generator™ software.  This software is used to collect the data from the analyzer and prepare preformatted reports.  Features of this software include:

  • Area, room and outlet information is shown for every test.
  • All tests results are color-coded for quick identification of any problems.
  • Outlet status sums up the condition of each outlet as ‘OK’ or ‘BAD’
  • Tester’s notes entered during testing indicate special situations present
at the outlet (Broken or Loose, Improper Type, Leaky Connector,
Not Accessible, Non-Standard, Incorrect Cover and more)
  • Comments can be added for each outlet while report is viewed.
These comments are stored in Report Generator along with the data.
  • Reports can be printed using the default Joint Commission accepted
format or can be reformatted to suit your facility’s requirements.
  • Filtering and sorting of data allows for detailed analysis of your system’s performance.
  • An unlimited number of files can be merged into a printed report.
