Removing a Test Result from Memory with theElectrical Receptacle Analyzer Perhaps you did a test and then realized that the area or room was incorrect. Or, maybe you pulled out the probe too soon. If this happens, you might want
to remove the results of the last test from memory and retest the outlet. This way the mistake won't appear on the printed report. To delete the last test from memory, follow the steps listed below:
- Increase the outlet number. (For example, to delete outlet number 10, increase the outlet number to 11.)
- Select the note "Delete Previous" from the note menu.
- Pull on the ground pin of the test probe and then release. The analyzer will display the message "OUTLET DELETED" and the "Delete Previous" note will be cleared automatically.
- After deleting the unwanted test, return the outlet number to the previous number and re-test the outlet. (For example, to re-test outlet number 10, change the outlet number from 11 back to 10 and re-test
outlet number 10.)
The "Delete Previous" function can only remove the most recent test performed. Performing a "Delete Previous" twice in succession will not delete two tests.
