The Report Generator™ Software supplied with your
analyzer has a new feature. The TITLPAGE.txt feature is designed to print up to 8 lines of text under the 'PREPARED BY:' heading on the title page of a survey report. This will allow you to customize each
report with the institution name and location, your company name or whatever information you may feel is useful.
To use this feature follow these simple steps:
1. Open the file TITLPAGE.txt using any type of
editor. For example: Word, Edit, Notepad or WordPad. Changing the information in TITLPAGE.txt can be done any time prior to printing the survey report. This means that you can collect the data from the
analyzer and then change the information or vise versa.
2. Type up to 8 lines of text. Remember, only 8 lines will be printed on the title page of the survey report. Any additional lines will not be
printed. The following is an example of some useful information:
This information will be printed under the 'PREPARED BY:' heading exactly as it appears above.
3. Save the newly entered information and exit out of the TITLPAGE.txt file without changing the name of
the file. If the name of the file is changed, this feature will not work properly.
4. Open the NST Report Generator™ Software program.
5. Choose 'P' for Print report.
6. Choose the data file you wish to print and press the Enter key.
7. Press 'S' for start and press the Enter key.
8. Choose how you would like the report to be printed from the Print Menu and press the Enter key.
9. Choose the page number where you would like the printout to start. If you start the printout on any page other than page number 1, the title page of the report will not be printed. This means
that the information which was entered into TITLPAGE.txt will not be printed.
10. At this time you will be asked the following question:
Include contents of TITLPAGE.txt on title page? (Y or N):
Enter Y for Yes to print the information on the title page or N for No to omit the information.
The information in TITLPAGE.txt can be changed as often as needed to customize each report.
